The President of the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia Met with the Minister of Justice


The President of the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia, Dr. Dr. Lela Janashvili met with the Minister of Justice Paata Salia.

The meeting highlighted the important role of the Ministry of Justice in the personal data protection process—particularly in ensuring data security, purpose limitation, and compliance with applicable legislation.

At the introductory meeting Dr. Dr. Lela Janashvili and Paata Salia discussed opportunities for cooperation between the two institutions.

The meeting was also attended by the First Deputy Head of the Personal Data Protection Service, Otar Chakhnashvili, as well as Deputy Ministers of Justice: Merab Turava, Giorgi Dgebuadze, Beka Dzamashvili, and Aleksandre Maisuradze.
